myspace.com

I recently created a myspace account so that I can look through people's profiles, and I can honestly say that I have no idea how this site became so popular, in that it's incredibly hard to navigate. There's not a single link on the page that will take me to the page where I can update or edit my profile. I'm actually stumped as to how to do this. The only way to actually update my profile is to log out and then go to the main page, and then log back in so that it takes me to the "edit profile" page. This is beyond ridiculous for a site that should be easy to use. And their ads are annoying as hell.

Facebook's set-up is ten times better.

It's not really that hard. You just click the home button when you're at someone else's profile everytime you wanna go back to your edit page to read your messages or whatever. At least that's all I have to do.

it might be the librarian in me, but websites that have shitty navagability piss me off because then i have to explain to patrons how to get where i got even though there was no logic to it other than random clicking and guessing.

myspace sucks it.

I'm fairly positive the "Home" link that takes you back to your page is on every site. Usually the menu is at the top of every page, even if it is difficult to read due to individual changes like strikeouts or small font. On blogs, the "Home" is at the top, to the right. Although there maybe a number of people on myspace who change the formatting of their profile and/or blog so that "Home" is in odd spots.

I keep an eye on my teenagers there, although mostly Josie. Because I'm like that. My profile..

myspace is sometimes hard to navigate and a pain when its slow , We use myspace to promote our club. whats cool is the automation software out there like http://www.myfriendbuilder.com/ it automates adding friends and emails. Probably not for what you are useing myspace for but it is great for bars and bands.
